Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or not, it is important to recognize the strength it takes to reach out and ask for help or assistance. Life can be incredibly difficult, and at times we may reach apoint of feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or exhausted, and no one should have to face those difficulties alone. I believe that therapy can provide a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space in which you can explore whatever you might be facing, past, present, or future.
I take on an integrative approach to provide each unique individual with what will best serve them. As an art therapist, I combine counseling and art-making to offer personal, meaningful, and holistic mental health care to ensure that creativity is a genuine resource to help encompass the concepts of authenticity, life meaningfulness, values driven work, recognition of strengths, hopefulness, and really focusing on solutions that are going to best suit you in the present moment. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, self esteem, and trauma for all individuals, and especially those 8-50 years old. My goal is to empower my clients and aid in the many components of emotional expression, processing, healing, cultivating awareness, and feeling worthy of play and creativity.
I received my BA in Art and Psychology from Monmouth College and my MA in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. Through my education and experiences, I am fortunate to work with a variety of populations, backgrounds, and ages. I cannot wait to meet you and have the opportunity to work collaboratively to help achieve the life you deserve.
